Weekend Wear

January 25, 2010

I got Steven to take these pictures when we were on our way to the San Francisco Film Noir Festival one night this weekend. Since we were already running late I didn’t bother to check the pictures, but later I realized that something was off about the camera settings. All the ones taken without a flash came out really washed out, and the ones with a flash are way too dark. But I liked this outfit so I’m sharing them anyway.

By the way, if you like tales of fast-talkin’, double-crossin’ tough guys and sultry dames and you’re in the Bay Area, you should really be attending Noir City. The Castro is showing tons of great films that aren’t available on DVD, and all of the money goes toward the preservation and restoration of film noir. The festival runs through the 31st, so there’s still plenty of time to catch some forgotten gems (and give your film-going dollars to someone other than James Cameron).

T-shirt: A Unicorns show, of course
Skirt: Made by me
Tights: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Anthropologie sale section
Purse: Thrifted
