Weekend Wear

January 29, 2010

Happy Friday!
If I look a little chilly in these photos, it’s because it was freezing up on that roof last week. Okay, not actually freezing, but it was cold for San Francisco. I obviously survived, though.

I don’t think I’ve ever posted pictures with my hair straightened, but now you know what I look like without my curly hair. Unlike my two curly-haired sisters, I rarely straighten mine. When I do, though, I kind of feel like a different person. Weird what a little quality time with a straight-iron can do, eh?

Dress: Thrifted (and the same as the one I wore here, just a different color)
Jacket: TJ Maxx
T-shirt: Nordstrom Rack
Tights: Target
Scarf: Thrifted
Boots: One of 2
Necklaces: Thrifted, and I made the one with the studs.

Have a great weekend!

So I followed your twitter link to beer pancakes (which, as a foodie, I will have to make soon) and thought “I didn’t know Rachel had a blog!”. I decided to look at more recent posts and the first pic on this post threw me, didn’t recognise you at all and wondered if I had assumed this was your blog incorrectly, but the third pic is way more recognisable.

So yeah, cool new specs and straightened hair do indeed make you a different person!

Lawrence, hah, that’s really funny that you didn’t recognize me. I like to joke that with straightened hair I’m my evil twin…or is it the other way around :-)

Hope you like the pancakes if you end up making them!
